Born in Belgium to Holocaust survivor parents and raised in the U.S., Mr. Goodchild’s upbringing instilled in him a deep commitment to defending the rights of the working class. Jack Goodchild earned his J.D. from the State University of New York, Buffalo, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1975. He is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist and has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board since 1984. He has also advised the California Legislature on workers’ rights issues.

In 1989, he founded his own firm with the mission to provide aggressive, compassionate representation for injured individuals across Southern California. Mr. Goodchild is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Central District Court of California and the U.S. Supreme Court.
